Benoit Boyer

Technical UI Designer

About Me

Hello! My name is Benoit and I’m a Technical UI Designer. As well as designing elements, with my computer science background and programming skills, I can design but also implement (or help implementing) new features. My variety of skills and empathy emphasizes teamwork and helps making the project development going smoothly.

I am most skilled in: C++ and WPF.

My pronouns are: They/Them/Their.

Projects

Baldur's Gate III

baldursgate3.game

Gather your party, and return to the Forgotten Realms in a tale of fellowship and betrayal, sacrifice and survival, and the lure of absolute power.

I began working of this project as a UI Developer, implementing features and UIs, using C++ and WPF (with the NoesisGUI layer for the interface).

Later on the project, I swapped roles to become a Technical UI designer, helping faster iterations for the designs and prototypes, and making the link between the teams thanks to my knowledge of the code base and D&D.

Divinity Original Sin II

The Divine is dead. The Void approaches. And the powers lying dormant within you are soon to awaken. The battle for Divinity has begun. Choose wisely and trust sparingly; darkness lurks within every heart.

I worked on improving the UIs (and especially the gamepad ones), along implementing new qualities of life, fixing bugs, and improving the Razer Chroma implementation.
